Seasonal Interview - Celebrating the Winter Solstice with Dee Nickerson

I first discovered the beautiful paintings by Dee Nickerson when I read an interview with her in Country Living magazine. Her colourful work captures seasonal magical moments many of us can relate to, such as bundled up walks through autumnal woods, windy days walking on the beach or snowy days spent indoors knitting.e it stand out.

Seasonal Interview - Celebrating the Autumn Equinox with Laura and Aaron from Parking on The Wildside

Laura and Aaron, the duo from @Parkingonthewildside, spend the year travelling across the UK and Europe, in their cosily refurbished van. Describing themselves as “Free spirits exploring the wilder side of Europe in our self built cabin-on-wheels”, they document their folksy van life with beautiful photographs shared on their popular instagram feed.

Seasonal Interview - Celebrating Midsummer with Andrew O’Brien

Andrew O’Brien is a gardener, gardening coach, blogger and podcaster. His mission is to help free people to enjoy rewarding, restorative and mindful relationships with their gardens.

Midsummer is the period of time surrounding the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. This is also the official start of Summer and a time to celebrate the peak of the earth’s abundance and greenness. Who then better to interview for Midsummer than Andrew, who witnesses nature’s growth and fruition more closely than most.

Neel van Lierop is a spiritual motivator and visionary based in Amsterdam and Los Angeles. In 2017 she launched the Inner Compass Cards, which are designed to help awaken your own inner compass to see directly what is most valuable to you at any given moment.

Demetria Provatas Honeywell is a baker, artist, and photographer based in Black Mountain, NC. Seasonal Interview - Celebrating midsummer with Urban Herbology’s Lynn Shore

Lynn Shore is a magical herbologist, a green witch if you will, living and working in Amsterdam. She has studied and worked with herbs for 25 years, alongside teachers, such as Glennie Kindred and Susan Weed. With her company Urban Herbology, she passionately shares her plant knowledge with town and city folk, through foraging walks, workshops and apprenticeship courses.
